General Graduation FAQs

How do I get a Letter of Completion?

  • The distribution of Letters of Completion will commence from May 24, 2021.

  • In order to receive a Letter of Completion, students must receive financial clearance.

  • A shared document between the Office of Student Finance and the Office of the Registrar will be regularly updated to indicate students who have received financial clearance.

When will I receive my Diploma?

  • Undergraduate and Graduate diplomas will be available for collection from July 31, 2021.

  • Students must be financially cleared in order to uplift their diploma.

  • Diplomas can be mailed (FedEx or TTPost) or collected in person. The cost of the mailed diploma must be covered by the student. Due to COVID-19, mailing rates are fluctuating and can only be provided closer to the date of dispatch.

  • Please see mailing estimates below:

    • United States of America (USA) - TTD$310.00

    • United Kingdom (UK) and Canada - TTD$350.00

    • Caribbean Islands (except Jamaica & Nevis) - TTD$280.00

    • Jamaica and Nevis - TTD$300.00

    • Any other territory, please inquire - registrar@usc.edu.tt

I am unable to pick up my diploma. What are my options?

Diplomas can be received via express mail. You must submit a letter including the following information (along with proof of payment) to the Records Office:

  • Your Name
  • USC ID Number
  • Personal Phone Number (preferably mobile)
  • Degree Earned
  • Complete address (no P.O. Boxes) to which the diploma is to be mailed
  • Your Signature

Please note that your diploma can only be released if you have Financial Clearance

Someone may collect on your behalf, proving that a signed authorization letter and proof of person (present National ID Card or Passport) is provided.

How do I get a Transcript?

  • All students will receive a free copy of their official transcript with their diploma.

  • Additional transcript requests will be processed at a cost of TTD$30.00 (or USD$5.00).
