Orientation sessions are held at the beginning of every semester and each student is required to attend. At these sessions, students are registered as members of the library and are introduced to the collections, services, policies and staff of the library.
Copies of the library’s handbook and informational brochures are also available. Students who attend orientation sessions are better able to navigate themselves through the library and maximize use of the library’s resources. Instruction sessions are also provided..
These sessions are geared towards empowering patrons in accessing, assessing and synthesising information for their various research needs.
