The Health & Wellness Centre is a fully functioning General Practice (GP) clinic serving the campus family and the wider community. More than just a GP clinic, fostering and maintaining good health is our core goal. Through daily services, as well as periodic and annual health programmes, lectures and other health-related features we aim to Health is a student's most precious possession., and makes referrals when necessary. Good health means self-awareness, self-control, self-satisfaction, loving relationships and a stable sense of well-being, even in the most trying times. Illness must be reported immediately to the Health and Wellness Centre.
The Centre opens from 8: a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday. Doctor's Clinic runs Monday & Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. as a walk-in appointment on a first come first served basis.
24 hour student health service
For residence hall students, there is a 24 hour health service avialable. Students should report illnesses to their hall dean, who will then contact the Campus Nurse.
General health care service
Core services include General ppractice, First Aid, Ashmatic care, Immunizations, Chronic desease management- such as diabetic and hypertensive consultations, Phebotomy, ECG services and referral services.
