On May 12, the familiar sound of the bell echoed across the campus of the University of the Southern Caribbean as graduands gathered for one of USC’s most cherished traditions, the Bell Ringing Ceremony, celebrating years of sacrifice, growth, and unforgettable memories together.
The ceremony opened with heartfelt remarks from the President of the Graduating Class,
Mr Reynold Williams, who reflected on the class’s journey and congratulated fellow graduands on reaching such a significant milestone. Throughout the ceremony, students shared touching testimonies of perseverance, faith, and friendship, creating an atmosphere filled with gratitude and celebration.

President of the Associated Student Body, Ms Ketaryah Tait, reminded graduands that the occasion represented far more than an ending. “I believe that this bell ringing ceremony is not an ending but a call to a greater purpose in our lives,” she shared.
Vice President of the Associated Student Body, Ms Shauntae Price, also delivered congratulatory remarks, expressing appreciation for the graduating class and the meaningful stories shared throughout the evening. “I am grateful for being a part of this great class with amazing people and the testimonies shared. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!” she shared.
As the bell rang across campus, one thing was clear, the Class of 2026 is leaving behind more than memories; they are leaving a legacy.
