During our semesterly week of prayer, God moved like a gentle current, unseen yet undeniable, stirring hearts and setting faith into motion. Under the theme “God in Motion,” students and faculty were invited into a spiritual journey that inspired reflection, challenged perspectives, and awakened a sense of purpose. Led by Pastor Terry Alva John, Vice President for Spiritual Awareness, in collaboration with iConnect Ministries, the Week of Prayer became more than a series of events; it was an experience of God’s active, guiding presence in everyday life.

Throughout the week, Pastor John encouraged the USC community to step beyond routines, deadlines, and distractions, reminding them that faith requires movement, surrender, and openness. His messages resonated deeply, highlighting truths relevant to young adults navigating a fast-paced world:
Each session blended Scripture, storytelling, and practical wisdom, creating moments that felt intimate and personal. Whether attending online or in person, students engaged with the messages, reflecting on their own journeys and reconnecting with their faith.
USC’s Week of Prayer isn’t just a few days of God-focused programs before life goes back to normal. It’s a space to pause, connect with God, and really feel Him moving in our lives, guiding us, inspiring us, and quietly shaping the way we live each day.
