“ASB Unveiled” — A New Era of Student Leadership Begins

USC unveiled its 2025-2026 Associated Student Body, focusing on student-centred initiatives and improving campus life

Students gathered on November 10th as the University of the Southern Caribbean officially introduced the 2025–2026 Associated Student Body, an executive team poised to shape the upcoming academic year with fresh ideas and a clear sense of purpose.

Provost Dr. Len Archer opened the program with a direct challenge to the new leaders: to carry out their roles with dignity, clarity, and compassion. His remarks set a focused tone, reminding everyone that effective leadership begins with service.

The ASB outlined their goals with a strong emphasis on student-centered initiatives, improved campus culture, and stronger collaboration across the university. Their presentation signaled a shift toward more intentional engagement and a renewed commitment to addressing student needs.

Pastor Onesi La Fleur, Vice President for Student Services, followed with an encouraging charge, reinforcing that the heart of student leadership lies in supporting and uplifting the USC community.

With the new administration officially in place, USC students can expect a year shaped by active leadership and practical improvements, one aimed at strengthening community, enhancing student life, and moving the university forward.
