The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) welcomes both internal and external transfer students who wish to continue or complete their academic journey with us. Whether you were previously enrolled at USC or are coming from another accredited institution, we’re here to support your transition.

Types of Transfer Students

USC processes two main categories of transfer applicants:

1. Internal Transfer Students

Current USC students who wish to transfer between instructional locations (e.g., from one campus or extension site to another).
➡ To initiate this process, visit the University Registrar’s Office.

2. External Transfer Students

Students who are currently enrolled at another college or university and wish to transfer credits to complete their degree at USC.
➡ We evaluate your academic record to determine transferable credits.

Who Should Apply as a Transfer Student?

Apply as a transfer student if:

  • You are currently enrolled at another accredited institution.
  • You have earned college-level credits.
  • You wish to transfer those credits toward a USC degree programme.

All transfer applicants must meet USC’s general undergraduate admission requirements and submit the required documentation.

Required Documents for Transfer Admission

To ensure a smooth evaluation of your transfer credits, please submit:
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities
  • Course outlines or syllabi for each completed course
  • Standard undergraduate admission documents (e.g., ID, application form, etc.)

Transfer Credit Evaluation Process

  • Each academic department or school at USC will assess your submitted transcripts and course outlines.
  • Approved transfer credits will be reflected in your student records.
  • Final decisions are based on course equivalency, accreditation, and programme requirements.
