We are delighted to welcome you to the University of the Southern Caribbean and to the exciting journey that lies ahead. Orientation marks the official beginning of your experience as a USCian, one rooted in purpose, community, and excellence.

Join us on January 7, 2026, as we officially welcome you to campus. These two days are designed to help you transition confidently into university life, build meaningful connections, and gain a true sense of the USC spirit that defines our vibrant community. Orientation goes beyond schedules and campus tours, it is your first step into the academic, spiritual, and social life of USC.

Throughout the orientation experience, you will connect with faculty, staff, orientation leaders, and fellow students; explore opportunities for growth and involvement; and begin shaping your academic and personal journey.

Orientation is required for all new first-year and transfer undergraduate degree-seeking students.

During Orientation, you will:

• Learn about the academic standards, policies, and community expectations of a USC student
• Become familiar with campus services, student support resources, and engagement opportunities
• Develop an academic plan with advising staff from your school or college and register for your first term of classes
• Interact with orientation leaders and meet fellow incoming students
• Participate in programs designed to introduce you to USC’s campus, culture, and values
