The School of Business & Entrepreneurship hosts its 9th Annual National Business Development one day seminar. This year the seminar is titled “The Role of Entrepreneurship and Trade in Economic Development with reference to Entrepreneurial Financing”.
About the Seminar
On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, the School of Business & Entrepreneurship will host its 9th Annual Business Development Seminar. The title of this year's Seminar is “The Role of Entrepreneurship and Trade in Economic Development with reference to Entrepreneurial Financing”.
The seminar aims to sensitize our students, youth and other stakeholders on the overarching importance of entrepreneurship in the economic development of the country which in itself acts as a barometer of the standard of living of its citizens.
In the economic environment where the buzzword is diversification of the economy from concentration in the energy sector as its mainstay, it is most apt to reinvigorate and refocus the creative abilities of our students through seminars such as this on the overwhelming need to take advantage of the endless opportunities presented through entrepreneurship.
Cognizant of the inability of any government to create sufficient jobs for its labour force, awakening the entrepreneurial acumen and harnessing the various creative energies of our youth is the need of the hour and, the School of Business through this seminar aims to achieve these goals.
