The Recruitment Symposium experience two weeks ago was very enlightening. My initial attraction was the Defense Force’s dispay, as my father is an ex-coast guard. It felt good to see them being represented at our University’s Recruitment Symposium.

The other companies represented were Republic Bank, RBTT, CLICO, First Citizens Bank, Petrotrin, Algico, E-TECK, A-Class Draperies & Interiors, Scotia Bank, Guardian Holdings, Ministry of Science & Technology & Tertiary Education, Water & Sewerage Authority, Bahamas Academy and a few others.

I think it was encouraging to have such esteemed companies at our Recruitment Symposium.

The representatives for Republic Bank, RBTT, CLICO & WASA were especially accommodating to my questions, needs and any concerns I had.

I believe that the University showed the students what high expectations there have for the students based on the type of companies that were invited to participate in the Recruitment Symposium. It feels good as a student to know that I have the support of the University in attaining a reputable career.
