New Student Orientation: August 24 to 27, 2009
Orientation marks the beginning of the semester for new students. It is designed to help you settle into university life, and provides you with information that will fully prepare you for classes. You will also be introduced to the services, facilities and social opportunities available on campus. We encourage all new students at USC to get involved in this unique experience.

The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) conducts Orientation at the beginning of both the first and second semesters. It is an eventful, fun-filled, and interactive MANDATORY programme designed to inform students about the uniqueness of the University.

Because of USC's unique academic requirement, policies, and activities, every new student must complete the New Student Orientation exercises.

Designed specially for you, there will be a series of lectures, meetings and activities that will familiarize you with the expectations and procedures of the University and its individual schools.

ø Full-time or Day students (12-16credits)
¥ Part-time or working students (1-11credits)
* Only for students who need placement exams.

NB: New Student Orientation is for full-time and part-time students alike.
Placement exams are ONLY for those who are in need of them. Please be guided accordingly.
