Security Officers and Estate Constables

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Records in station diary as well as personal diary the events that occurred during shift
  • Screens visitors to campus
  • Reports any situation that appears to be inconsistent with security and safety regulations
  • Patrols campus paying particular attention to those areas that are not well lit

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Three (3) CXC O’ Level subjects including English is required
  • Must be between the ages of 18–45 years
  • At least two (2) to five (5) years Law Enforcement experience
  • Certificate of Character or Receipt is required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Personable, discreet, highly motivated, and customer oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be in good physical health
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Committed to high spiritual, moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean
