DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing religious leadership and cultural refinement
• Planning activities and providing counsel to faculty, staff and students
• Participating in development programme
• Must be able to show respect, appreciation and sensitivity to the diverse population of the University
• Maintaining University’s philosophy

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A Master of Science degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology from an accredited institution is required; however, individuals with a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling will be considered
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Counseling or involvement in Social Work
• At least two (2) years of Supervisory work is preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Taking pleasure in working with young people
• Personable, discreet, highly motivated, and customer oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Committed to high spiritual, moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean
