DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching of courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) such as: reading, writing, grammar and oral and listening skills
• Serving as an academic advisor to a designated number of students
• Demonstrating ability to work with local and Spanish speaking business people
• Multicultural experiences and understanding of business communities

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a minimum of a B.A. degree in English or Linguistics from an accredited institution.   Applicant with a TESOL Diploma is also required
• At least three (3) to five (5) years teaching experience at the tertiary level will be an asset

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness and preparedness to travel
• Personable, discreet, highly motivated, and customer oriented
• Excellent communication skills -- written and oral in Spanish and English required
• Committed to high spiritual, moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean
