DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Teaching of courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) such as: reading, writing, grammar and oral and listening skills
- Serving as an academic advisor to a designated number of students
- Demonstrating ability to work with local and Spanish speaking business people
- Multicultural experiences and understanding of business communities
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE - Must have a minimum of a B.A. degree in English or Linguistics from an accredited institution. Applicant with a TESOL Diploma is also required
- At least three (3) to five (5) years teaching experience at the tertiary level will be an asset
OTHER REQUIREMENTS - Willingness and preparedness to travel
- Personable, discreet, highly motivated, and customer oriented
- Excellent communication skills -- written and oral in Spanish and English required
- Committed to high spiritual, moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean
