Creative Services Assistant Photographer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates layouts and artwork for any given advertising, promotional or other Marketing project, based on brand guidelines
  • Assists in the design and production of university publications that aid in the recruitment, retention, and resource development for the university
  • Provides quality photographic services to the university community serves and serves as an on-campus resource for shooting portraits, campus shots, and other necessary images for print or web
  • Maintain and catalogue an extensive and current library of quality photographic images representing all aspects of life on the University campus
  • Work as a member of the publications team in the visual conceptualization of projects
  • Stay abreast of new computer software and hardware developments

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing from an accredited institution or its equivalent in the related area.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in photography, general business operations and graphic design.
  • Experience in the areas of Multi Media, proofing, and preparing files for output will be an asset.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge in areas of Microsoft Office, and desktop publishing.
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Personable, discreet, highly motivated, and customer oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Committed to high spiritual, moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean
