Assistant Director Human Resources

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the different HR functions and activities in the absence of the Director.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to employment.
  • Assist in the recruiting of staff personnel as the need arises.
  • Assist with employee evaluation procedures.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Master of Arts degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology from an accredited institution. 
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years experience in Professional HR Management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Thorough knowledge of Applicable Labour Laws of Trinidad and Tobago  and best HR practices
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong management and Leader skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Computer.
  • Committed to the high moral and ethical standards of the University of the Southern Caribbean.
