The USC Peer Counsellor Club is comprised of day students, evening students, full time students, part time students, international students and nationals-basically, people form all walks of life who have committed to helping new and current students on their USC journey. They can personally relate to the issues, challenges and frustrations of student life, because they are taking the same journey. For students that might be dealing with homesickness, roommate issues, balancing social and academic life they are here to:
- LISTEN
- EDUCATE
- MEDIATE
- REFER
The following list are those PC’s who function as an extension of the Counselling Department to provide a listening ear, mediate as necessary in small disputes and refer students to the Counselling Department for services. PC conduct is guided by the principles of compassion and confidentiality.
